After four months of extensive community consultations, the GCA Board approved on March 26, 2013 a report produced by its Traffic Committee containing recommendations for the City of Ottawa and the National Capital Commission on changes that should be made to the Glebe Traffic Plan in order to mitigate the anticipated day-to-day traffic impact of the new Lansdowne development. A total of 45 recommendations have been made based on a variety of consultations including workshops, surveys and comments on earlier proposals posted on the GCA web site, many of which were also featured in the March 2013 Glebe Report. These recommendations will be presented to the City’s Lansdowne Transportation Advisory Committee (LTAC) on March 28th. The GCA will keep the community informed of the City’s response and will actively promote the implementation of these recommendations by the City and the NCC over the coming months.
