DESCRIPTION:Changing the deal at Lansdowne? A public forum\n\n\n\n\nSummary: If you care about the future of Lansdowne Park and how the land will be used in the coming years\, come to this public meeting to meet with the City of Ottawa\, the Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group (OSEG)\, and Community Associations. This is an important opportunity to learn and share feedback of changes that have been made and are being considered at Lansdowne. \nCo-hosted by: the Glebe Community Association\, Old Ottawa East Community Association\, and Ottawa South Community Association \nDate and Time: Monday\, October 28th at 7:00pm \nLocation: Horticultural Building \nObjectives: \n\nInformation sharing about recent changes at Lansdowne\, including the Casino Lac Leamy Plaza\nSharing findings from the Strategic Review of Lansdowne and the recommendations for how the Review will be addressed.\nGathering community input to shape the future of Lansdowne.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCity staff have prepared a report\, to be presented to the City’s Finance and Economic Development Committee on Nov. 5\, recommending that City transfer management of the whole site (including the Aberdeen Pavilion\, Horticulture Building\, Great Lawn\, etc.) to OSEG. \nThe transfer is to be “informed by public consultations\,” so here’s your chance! Come to Monday’s meeting\, 7-9 p.m. at the Horticulture Building.
