While the in-person edition of the 2021 Great Glebe Garage Sale and Sidewalk Sale has been cancelled, we are excited to announce the Virtual Edition will go live on the GiveShop marketplace starting on May 28, 2021. Buyers can make offers starting a week later, on June 4 – until June 25, 2021.
This year, every donated item for sale on the Give Shop marketplace will automatically gain a chance to win $500 – a prize donated by McKeen Metro in the Glebe.
The Great Glebe Garage Sale — Virtual Edition is a great way to give your stuff new life and benefit the Ottawa Food Bank at the same time. The Ottawa Food Bank gets the money from the sale, and you get a charitable tax receipt for the purchase amount. You can also donate to the Ottawa Food Bank directly on our dedicated donation page.
