The Ontario Ministry of Transportation is planning to rehabilitate or replace several bridges on Highway 417 (Ottawa Queensway) including those at Metcalfe Street, Elgin Street, the Rideau Canal and Main Street. This work will directly impact the Glebe and our neighbouring communities). Come and find out about the project, which currently in a planning phase. This is an opportunity to give your opinion on aspects of the project like noise barriers, something our community has long advocated for. The preliminary design and environmental assessment study is being carried out by consultants, BT Engineering Inc.
