In March, the GCA Board passed a Parks Committee motion designed to help protect City-owned parks from permanent or seasonal commercialization and urging meaningful consultation for any such proposed projects. A second motion, also passed by the Board, reiterated this same call for NCC-owned parks in the Glebe, in particular concerning the proposed Bistro at NCC-Owned Patterson Creek Park. The committee, along with the GCA Board executive, remains engaged in this consultation process with the NCC.
