The Open House hosted by Minto on Saturday to present their revised proposal was well attended by Glebe residents.  Many people expressed ongoing concern regarding the massing of the building, particularly along 4th and 5th Avenues, as well as to the rear of the building where it is adjacent to existing low-rise residential.  Many felt that additional building setbacks along the Avenues are needed.  Also, that greater building stepbacks above the first few floors are important to reduce the impact of the upper storeys of the building.  There were just some of the comments heard.  This proposal will now be presented  for approval to the City’s Planning Committee in June.

If you were not able to attend, you can view the updated plans here:  99 Fifth Avenue Proposal .

If you have comments on this revised proposal, they should be submitted this week to the City’s lead Planner on this file,  as well as  Please also consider cc’ing
