The GCA Environment Committee and Health, Housing and Social Services Committee received a request from parents at Mutchmor Public School to research the environmental and health impacts of artificial turf as the school was considering artificial turf for its playground
At the Parents Council Playground Committee on Jan. 15, 2025, the GCA presented information on established concerns with artificial turf, from both an environmental and children’s health and safety perspective.
