We have begun planning for the new campus of The Ottawa Hospital on Carling Avenue. An important part of the process is to get input from as many stakeholders as possible. The new campus will continue as a major trauma and acute tertiary care centre, serving patients throughout the City of Ottawa and Eastern Ontario.

The hospital’s planning team will be holding public information sessions as outlined below. Additional sessions will be added as needed. I would like to invite you to attend; we would also appreciate your help in encouraging members of your community to attend a session in or near your ward.

The agenda will include presentations on how we are planning service delivery, the ‘art of the possible’ in designing the new hospital, and how people can get involved and share their feedback.  Following the presentations, presenters and hospital representatives will be made available to discuss the issues and answer questions. The feedback we hear will be included in our planning going forward.
